My Great great grandparents, Antoine Rivet and Marie Henriette (aka Harriet) Beaudry, are my main brickwalls. I have not been able to identify Antoine's parents or locate his birthplace.  I do know Antoine was born somewhere in Quebec.  My best guess from everything that I have read and pieced together, is that he was from the  Rigaud, Quebec area.  I also know Henriette's (Harriet) parents were Michael Beaudry and Rosalie Fortin. She was born February 27, 1819 in the Rigaud area of Quebec.

Antoine and Harriet were married November 5, 1838 at Notre Dame in Ottawa. According to their marriage record, the priest did not list their parents' names. They lived in Kemptville, Ontario, just a short distance south of Ottawa. They belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kemptville, Ontario. Most, if not all, of their 15 children were baptized there. They were farmers  in the Leeds-Grenville area.

Even though I know much about many of their children, I still have not been able to determine positively the birthplace, or the parents of this couple. According to census reports, Antoine was born about 1804 and Harriet about 1818. I believe Antoine's brother was Venasse (aka Venance, Venice) Rivet, born about 1799; and that he married Harriet's sister - Rosalie Beaudry, born about 1816.

If anyone has connections or information on either of these couples, I would certainly appreciate an email. I am always willing to share and compare information.
